About Me
Peter Gross
Nonprofit Technology Strategist
I have spent my entire 30-year career working with and for nonprofit organizations with the last 20 years focused on technology. I started my consulting career working for Blackbaud doing dozens of implementations of the Raiser’s Edge and leading some of the largest and most complex implementations to that point.
For the last 13 years I have partnered with some of the largest and most complex organizations to develop and implement technology roadmaps and to select and implement new systems. Just as important is my work to improve how my clients collaborate internally to govern, operate and implement their 2nd most valuable resource: the data they collect that drives fundraising, finance, operations and programmatic impact.
More recently, I have focused on the single most important nonprofit technology resource: the technologists who are responsible for implementing, managing and supporting the software, hardware, processes and vendor relationships that comprise the nonprofit’s technology ecosystem.
I live in Nashville, TN, with two kittens, two outstanding teenage kids, and a guitar that is afraid to go out in public in a town where everybody plays it better than I do.
